The women working with Lake Merritt Pet Sitting have all been busy volunteering for animal shelters or private rescues, showing a deep love for animals and committing their free time for their well being. Part of the proceeds will go to animal rescues and animal welfare programs.

Maria Sica

Growing up I had cats, dogs, birds, fish, hamsters and ...bats! I have been volunteering at a local animal shelter for years.

I also volunteer at House Rabbit Society and fostered many rabbits, including those needing meds & special care (and babies!)

Although I always had a special love for animals, it was after I got Attila, my first pet rabbit, that my life literally changed.

A sweet white and gray bunny named Tule, made me want to be braver to defend those who need help, challenging my own fears to try and contribute for a better world.

Part of the proceeds will fund a animal rescue project in Spain.

Anna Reynoso

I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with dogs, but feel in love with rabbits last year after I had my first bunny named Kiki. She was my heart and soul, and unfortunately passed away.

Luckily I was blessed again to be a bunny mom to a wonderful rabbit named Bingley.

I am a regular volunteer at the House Rabbit Society and am very passionate about providing fur babies with the proper care and love they deserve while you are away.

Jenny Lam

I have been volunteering at House Rabbit Society for many years. I have two senior bunnies, pictured above and vast experience with their needs.

I can provide a safe, kind and comfortable home to your bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters in my home in El Cerrito while you are away.

The set up is a standard x-pen with blanket, fresh hay, veggies, water and places to hide.

NOTE: drop off and pick up after 6pm during weekdays, more flexible on weekends.

Michelle Chan

Michelle volunteered as a rabbit mentor in a local animal shelter for 10 years.

She had bunnies and currently she has a beautiful cat.

She is kind, reliable and highly experienced with a variety of pets.

Hello! I am Blythe and I am a student and animal-lover!

I grew up in Oakland and when I am not studying I like to volunteer with animals such as at House Rabbit Society or the SPCA.

I love meeting new furry friends and I am excited to meet yours soon!

Anne Clarke

I have been cat sitting for 10+ years and involved in rescue work for 20 years, being also team leader for the East Bay & SF fix feral cats program.

I currently have 5 cats, all rescues.

Dani Carrillo

I am an all-around animal lover, and have experience with dogs and cats at various shelters, including Hopalong in Oakland.

I am a proud bunny mom of two and enjoy hiking, climbing and running in my free time.
